In order to provide a Travel Now Pay Later (TNPL) payment option on its travel app, IRCTC Rail Connect, the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has partnered with CASHe. On October 19, 2022, a press statement was published announcing this.
Travelers can use the TNPL option to book their tickets first and pay for them in simple Equated Monthly Instalments (EMI) . Millions of people who like train travel will now have more flexibility thanks to the option.
“Passengers purchasing reserved and tatkal tickets through the IRCTC travel app will have the option to pay with EMI on the checkout page. The TNPL EMI payment option from CASHe provides a seamless user experience by automatically approving all users to use the service without any documentation, the company claimed in a news statement.
According to the business, consumers must provide basic information, such as their Aadhaar and PAN numbers, in order to be eligible for the new “travel now pay later” function. They may then access the feature by using a one-time password (OTP). An individual’s eligibility for the new IRCTC “travel now pay later” feature will be determined by past transactions and other elements.
