On Nvidia’s website, you may register to receive notifications whenever the cards become available. Resellers must provide a service that is comparable to pre-orders but allows customers to sign up for notifications when the cards arrive.

It’s not unexpected that Nvidia hasn’t announced a release date for these cards, but given the debut of the RTX 4080, it’s likely that the review embargo will be lifted around November 15.

The RTX 4080 12 GB appears to be on track for a relaunch by NVIDIA. The graphics card, which is now known as the RTX 4070 Ti, has a lower starting price but keeps the same product board and SKU as the RTX 4080 12 GB. Multiple release and announcement dates for the RTX 4070 Ti have leaked, in addition to the card’s packaging.

Recently, @kopite7kimi asserted that NVIDIA intended to rebrand the RTX 4080 12 GB and release it under a new moniker. Recap: While the RTX 4080 12 GB, RTX 4080 16 GB, and RTX 4090 were all announced alongside the RTX 4080, NVIDIA withdrew the 12 GB model before it could be made available because it realised how much confusion it would cause by releasing two graphics cards with the same name but very different specifications. As a result, @kopite7kimi claimed that NVIDIA has decided to rename the RTX 4080 12 GB to the “RTX 4070 Ti,” offering a straight replacement for the RTX 3070 series.

With the disclosure of the RTX 4070 Ti’s package, MEGAsizeGPU has now expanded on @kopite7kimi’s leak. The packaging, which is seen below, should be valid for NVIDIA’s board partners as well as Founders Edition models, if any. According to VideoCardz, the RTX 4070 Ti will, incidentally, use the same product board and SKU as the ‘unlaunched’ RTX 4080 12 GB. To put it another way, the RTX 4070 Ti will ship with 12,0 GB of GDDR6X VRAM running on a 192-bit bus, 7,680 CUDA cores on the AD104 GPU, and these features. Whether the RTX 4070 Ti keeps the 285 W TGP of the RTX 4080 12 GB .

Wccftech has also revealed many launch dates for the RTX 4070 Ti. According to rumours, NVIDIA will reveal the graphics card on January 3, 2023. NVIDIA will also introduce the RTX 4070 Ti on January 5. These dates suggest that NVIDIA will most likely present the RTX 4070 Ti at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. While NVIDIA is anticipated to pitch the RTX 4070 Ti as a more affordable alternative to the cancelled RTX 4080 12 GB, pricing information has not yet emerged. For comparison, NVIDIA charged US$899 for the latter, whilst the RTX 3070 Ti cost US$599.
