1024 people can now join groups on WhatsApp, and a beta version of a premium membership for corporate users is now available.

  • The maximum number of members that can be added to groups by some WhatsApp beta testers has been extended to 1024.
  • For a limited number of business customers utilising WhatsApp Beta, the company is also launching a new optional premium membership.
  • The WhatsApp settings page will now feature a new area called WhatsApp Premium for eligible corporate accounts.

Users will soon be able to create groups of up to 1024 people on WhatsApp thanks to a new feature. Select Android and iOS users can presently get it through the beta channel. A brand-new premium membership for companies dubbed WhatsApp Premium has also been introduced by the company and is presently being beta tested by users.

 

For Beta users, WhatsApp will enable the option to make groups with up to 512 members in June 2022. For some Beta testers, the business has now raised the number to 1024. Users can add a new group or a new member to an existing group to see if the enhanced limit is available for their account. When the corporation will make this feature available to stable users is unknown at this time.

For commercial accounts, the corporation is introducing a new premium membership. For certain corporate accounts utilising the WhatsApp Beta app, there is an extra subscription plan called WhatsApp Premium. The WhatsApp settings page will now feature a new area called WhatsApp Premium for eligible corporate accounts. Regional variations in subscription fees are possible.
